London-based Forest fan Charlie Forecast has got in touch to tell us about the half marathon he is running ahead of Sunday’s play-off final against Huddersfield at Wembley – all for a great cause.
Charlie is also running the London Marathon later in the year in aid of Brain Research UK, as a thank you to his late Grandad, who suffered from Alzheimers, while his Dad is a lifelong migraine sufferer.
Charlie says: “I’m a huge Forest fan and played for the academy from eight to 16. That was a while ago and I’m now 23.
“I live in London and watched the Bournemouth game and the Blades away leg in the Sports Bar and Grill. It was great to watch the games with fellow Forest fans!
“I’m running the marathon in October for Brain Research UK. As part of my fundraising efforts, I’m going to run a half marathon from where I live in Clapham, to Wembley on Sunday.
“I would love for the Forest family to get behind me! COYR.”
