So here we are, after a momentous season since Steve Cooper became manager, all set for the play-off semi-final between Sheffield United and Nottingham Forest.
Thanks to the Nottingham Forest Supporters Club and our chairman Steve Moon for getting the tickets which mean some branch members will be at Bramall Lane.
For those who can’t be there we can recommend joining many other London Trickies at the Sports Bar and Grill.
We are aware that some Forest fans have bookings at our usual venue in Marylebone but that it may be more busy than usual with the FA Cup final later in the day.
With that in mind we are suggesting people without booking make their way to the Sports Bar and Grill at Canary Wharf where we also expect to have a gathering of Forest fans.
The venue is located next to the new Elizabeth Line station (for any trainspotters wanting a sneak preview… ) check out the venue at: https://www.sportsbarandgrill.co.uk/canarywharf

For those those not lucky enough to be at the World Famous City Ground for Tuesday’s second leg, we will be back at our normal venue in Marylebone. For those going to the match at the time of writing afternoon trains to Nottingham are available from £20.50. The 2158 direct option back seems unlikely with the possibility of extra-time and penalties or, preferably, Depeche Mode and fireworks out of the back of the Greek restaurant on Radcliffe Road.
However there is a 2330 from Grantham which may be do-able by clubbing together for a cab which costs roughly £50 from the Larwood and Voce.
Finally, at the time of writing, the programmes shown in this article are both available from Ignition Sports Media – https://www.ignitionsportsmedia.com
Come on you Reds.
