At this this time of year, you usually receive a communication from the parent supporters club inviting members to vote for the player of the year.
This year they are just doing this online so if you want to vote please follow the instructions on their website at http://www.nottinghamforestsupportersclub.co.uk/
We also have details of a London pub which can show television outside – the Islington Red Lion – which may be of interest to those interested in watching matches outside in line with the current Covid-19 guidelines.
The pub is just outside Angel station and has two outside areas with TVs – they are offering individual and group bookings but it might be packed out if Norwich are playing. Call 020 7837 7816 or email info@oldredliontheatre.co.uk
Looking ahead to the summer and to next season when we hope to be able to return to the City Ground, I anticipate staging an Annual General Meeting as soon after the D-Day of June 21 as possible assuming the situation allows it.
While naturally, we as a Committee cannot have mch to report, we will look to make it as much a social occasion as a meeting, it probably will be the first chance we can all meet up again after all but there will have to be some of the usual formalities including election of Committee as we really all continued on default this season.
I understand why some members did not rejoin this season due to Covid uncertainties so once we have next season’s details available, we will let you know. However only those who did renew would be eligible to participate in any AGM voting business.
You will hear from us in due course so please, as always, ignore any membership renewal details you may receive from the parents supporters’ club.
Naturally please accept my apologies for very little communications this season but there has been little more that I or anyone else can add to what everyone already knew. But hopefully we are nearly there now so I hope you and your families have come through this unscathed and we can soon be able to meet up regularly both for matches and socially.
