A message from chairman Steve Moon
Apologies for not being in touch earlier but, as you know, there’s been really nothing I can add to the present situation.
Although I have sent this to all last season’s members, I appreciate that some of you have held back due to the uncertainty of things but I would like to thank all of those who have renewed and also belatedly welcome the few new members we have gained this season.
Naturally, your guess is as good as mine as to when we can get back to normal, or as near to normal as is possible but hopefully, in the New Year once we have been vaccinated, there may be some light in this tunnel although with London now also going into Tier 3, that still looks a long time away.
Despite how badly we are doing at present, I still miss the games and seeing you all around either at the City Ground or at the London games but despite these hardships, the most important thing is that all of us and all your families and friends come through the other side of this, however long it takes and we can all meet up again with this nightmare fully behind us.
In the meantime, may I take this opportunity to wish each and every one of you, and your families, a very Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and hope that at some point during 2021, even if it’s next season which is looking most likely at the moment, we can all meet up again.
