With the new season fast approaching and London Trickies having happily attracted a number of new members for the forthcoming season, now is a good time to produce our procedure and guidelines for buying match tickets through the branch.
In short, we will do our best subject to following the rules. But we don’t and cannot promise that all applications will be successful.
AWAY TICKETS: The branch will endeavour to obtain away match tickets for our members whenever it is practicable. However, the club’s away ticket membership schemes retain top priority and while we were OK for most of last season, without away membership or a season ticket, it may be difficult for Derby, Burton and, depending on demand, some London games.
THE PROCEDURE: While an effort will be made for every away match subject to these procedures being correctly followed, you must understand that tickets cannot be guaranteed. Please accept that while we will do our best, we cannot produce miracles. Steve Moon must apply to the parent supporters club 21 days before the game which means he must receive an application no later than the deadline listed below.
HOW TO APPLY/PAY: You must apply to Steve, with a cheque payable to Nottingham Forest SC London Branch and an SAE, by the dates listed. Steve will not accept cheques on the train and they must be received on time. Post them to: Steve Moon, 32 Westminster Gardens, Barking, Essex, IG11 OBJ.
You CAN pay online but must notify Steve that you have done so. The bank is HSBC – sort code 40-08-19, bank account 81115340. Please reference the appropriate match. You still must send Steve the relevant SAE.
RECEIVING YOUR TICKETS: You must supply an SAE for each match. Steve will generally post out tickets the weekend before the relevant fixture so if you have not received it by the Wednesday before a Saturday game, let him know. He may be able to order replacements.
WHO CAN APPLY: We can only obtain tickets for Members and Steve submits a list of names and branch membership numbers to the parent Supporters’ Club on a pre-printed form. Therefore, if ordering on behalf of others, I must know who they are and specify that the tickets are for that person/those people exclusively. The club allocate your seat number prior to giving Steve the tickets and those numbers must be adhered to.
Anyone deliberately abusing this procedure could be refused further ticket applications.
I AM AN AWAY MEMBER/SEASON TICKET HOLDER: You can still apply for away tickets through Steve who will submit them with our application. Make sure he knows your NFFC reference numbers. However, as Forest state that membership of that away membership scheme does not guarantee a ticket, doing through us will not improve your chances, only keep them equal to that of the scheme.
HOME TICKETS: The branch does not generally acquire tickets for home games. They are available from the NFFC ticket office with prices generally £24-£32 when booked in advance, increasing by £2 if paid on the day. A couple of home games will be earmarked for a reduced rate and also check the club website for details of Kids for a Quid.
