Put on a red top, blow up some red balloons and show your love for Forest this Valentine’s Day.

In recent weeks/months/years, it would have been easy to stop loving Forest.

But from that first moment we pulled on the Garibaldi, walked along the banks of the Trent and stepped inside the world famous City Ground, we made a commitment to love Nottingham Forest forever, till death do us part.

Inspired by – and in association with – our comrades Forza Garibaldi, we want to celebrate that love affair when Forest play Fulham on Tuesday, February 14.

It is, of course, Valentine’s Day. The day of love. You’ve made the decision to leave girlfriends, boyfriends, wives and husbands (or Tinder accounts) to spend it with Gary, Dani, Benny, Matty, Zach, Britt et al instead (sadly not Eric). So let’s get behind the lads and show them that lovin’ feeling.

Pre-match we plan to convene at The Mitre, 81 Dawes Road, SW6 7DU (five minutes walk from Fulham Broadway tube, five mins walk to Craven Cottage), have some drinks and share stories of our love for Forest.

Forza Garibaldi has been doing amazing work in creating a special atmosphere at the City Ground and we want to encourage you all to do the same at Craven Cottage. We would like to ask fans to wear red, bring their much-loved Forest scarves and flags – and because it’s Valentine’s Day, we want to fill the away end with red balloons.

It’s a bit of fun, it’s about celebrating the love we have for Nottingham Forest and it’s about showing the players they have the best fans in the world behind them.
