Ticket and train updates – Brum, Bees, Baggies, Boro etc

Here is some information for our forthcoming fixtures:
Jan 28 Brentford (a) Tickets have been posted to those who ordered tickets. For those paying electronically prices are £25.50 (if you requested seats), £23 (adult standing), £17 (senior), £6 (junior). Steve is still awaiting a few SAE’s and for this game you will now need a first-class stamp!
Feb 1 Birmingham (a) Once again tickets have been posted. Prices are £30 (adults) and £25 (senior). At the time of writing trains were still available from around £21 on the Avanti West Coast website.
Feb 8 Leeds (h) Just a reminder this is a 5.30pm kick off and on Sky. The Sports Bar & Grill at Marylebone will be showing this…
Feb 11 Charlton (h) Being a midweek game this is currently listed to be on the Sky Red Button
Feb 15 West Brom (a) And this is a 12.30pm kick off on Sky. Last orders for match tickets have just about closed for this, well done to anyone who makes last orders in Marylebone… at the time of writing trains to Brum were around £20 and then it is a quick ride to The Hawthorns.
Feb 22 QPR (h) East Midlands Railway is clearly run by Derby fans because yet again they have timed their engineering work for our home game. There is a bus replacement between Bedford and Leicester if you are a glutton for punishment.  Alternatively you can go via Grantham on LNER.
Feb 25 Cardiff (a) Let Steve know by the end of the month if you fancy a midweek trip to South Wales. Once again the Red Button should take the strain…
Feb 29 Middlesbrough (a) Again let Steve know by the end of the month but be warned… this is the really helpful message from LNER…

Do not travel to or from London on Saturday 29 February and Sunday 1 March

There will be no trains to and from London King’s Cross on the 29 February and 1 March because of Network Rail track upgrade work. We strongly advise you DO NOT TRAVEL TO OR FROM LONDON.

There will be no trains south of Peterborough for connecting travel. For more information, click here.

These changes are reflected in the timetables when planning your journey or booking your ticket using the online booking engine

You can change at Sheffield and Darlington for £71.45 return. Joy.
