London Trickies chairman Steve Moon has got a close-up view of something we’d all like to see return to the City Ground this season – the Championship trophy.
Of course it’s one of the most famous trophies in football, the one John McGovern lifted in 1978 when Brian Clough’s Forest were crowned Football League champions; and 20 years later by Colin Cooper when the Reds last made it into the top flight under Dave Bassett.
Steve made it along to Fulham’s Craven Cottage along with a fan representing each of the other 71 clubs in the newly-rebranded EFL and looked pretty dapper in adidas’ brilliant new Forest home shirt.
