Mark Crossley to speak at historic London venue

Mark Crossley

Forest legend Mark Crossley is guest speaker at London’s oldest riverside pub on Thursday, June 13.

‘Big Norm’ is one of the funniest speakers you can see – to the extent he was crowned Sports After-Dinner Speaker of the Year 2023.

He will be at the Prospect of Whitby pub on the banks of the Thames, London from 1pm.

Crossley is renowned for his impressions of Brian Clough – the iconic manager who dubbed him Shithouse, Barnsley and Imbecile!

Clough was like a father figure to the Yorkshireman, who is in footballing folklore for saving Gary Lineker’s penalty in the 1991 FA Cup final as well as being the only man to save a Matt Le Tissier penalty in professional football.

The event is raising money for a charity called Action for Sport which raises money to provide sporting opportunities for children with no sports kit.

One package includes a three-course lunch and drinks and there is one just for Mark’s after dinner speech. There is a special starting price of £40 for London Trickies members.
